It’s been a while since there has been any news worth reporting on the Rocket Racing League but we feel as though there is a need to get back into the swing of things because the Rocket Racing League has recently announced (gotta love these) that it will announce the 2008 schedule of events on April 14, 2008.
That’s right, the Rocket Racing League will finally announce the date of a confirmed exhibition race on tax day eve. There has been a lot of talk about the league that was suppossed to challenge Nascar, and give crush the Red Bull race circuit but there hasn’t been a lot of action on the part of the race organizers.
Although their website posts a new news article every few months they still claim to be ready for a full race schedule this year, 2008. Whether that’s the truth or not remains to be seen but we have our fingrs crossed that come April 14th we’ll see a lot more action from the X-Racer.
Is the Rocket Racing League no more?
We haven’t heard any updates since they made it a few air shows this summer. A google news search for rocket racing league turns up nothing new, the company’s own press room hasn’t had anything spicy since March. What’s going on?
Three teams, two teams, one team. No one knows any more.
While the Red Bull Racing is taking off, with big time commercial spots, while the RRL isn’t seeing any action.
If anyone has any information please let us know.
